BIZ & CO. is an independent firm, licensed by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and duly registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) and the Office of the Auditor General.
Founded in 1996 as BIZ CONSULT, the firm was reconstituted in 1999 as BIZ & CO., to comply with ICPAU requirements for statutory audit practice. Over nearly three decades, the firm has evolved into a trusted advisory partner, delivering high-quality accounting, audit, tax and business advisory services across Uganda and the wider Sub-Saharan region.

We help organizations maintain accurate financial records, bolster financial reporting and implement modern accounting systems that support better decision-making and regulatory compliance. Our team has extensive experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage, Tally and other leading cloud-based accounting platforms. We also assist clients with financial reporting, accounting systems implementation, finance process improvement and regulatory compliance.
Accounting services are provided as part of our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services. BIZ & CO selects a dedicated team of accounting professionals to staff an accounting department tailored to suit the clients’ business needs. This team consists of a full-charge bookkeeper and a controller. Additional accounting staff can be added as required based on the business activity at hand.
We provide independent, high-quality audit and assurance services across a diverse range of sectors, including government institutions, non-governmental organizations and private enterprises. All our engagements are conducted in accordance with applicable professional standards, legal and regulatory requirements, as well as our clients’ internal policies and procedures. Our statutory audits are performed in full compliance with the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), ensuring reliability, transparency and stakeholder confidence.
